Austin and Miss Marjorie Wallace were united in marriage Wednesday, June 12, at the Methodist church in Oshkosh, the pastor of the church performing the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Austin then went to Chicago for a few days, returning to Sparta Monday, where they will be at home to their friends at 503 East Franklin street. Mr. Austin is a member of the firm of Austin & Hillier, clothers, and is in charge of the Pickwick store in Sparta. Miss Wallace was instructor of music in the public schools here for two years and the past year has been at Red Wing, Minn. The above is clipped from a La Crosse paper, the bride being a daughter of J. D. Wallace, now of Oshkosh. This young lady was at one time musical instructor in the Evansville schools.
