He and I and others have been researching our Bohn ancestry. This wedding story is about a October 6, 1908 wedding of Ella Bartel to Will Kuehl of Tomah, Wisconsin. The reason this story was of interest to us is because the "away" guests were listed as: Mr & Mrs Fred Bohn, Wm Bohn, Wm Paul, Siegfried Bohn and Gustav Liebe of South Dakota. Fred Bohn and Siegfried Bohn are brothers of my Grandfather, Albert A Bohn, and also were brothers of the second cousin I referred to above. His grandfather was Hermann Bohn. The Wm Bohn mentioned is also a brother of my grandfather or a nephew of my grandfather. The Gustav Liebe name is also a familiar name here in the Grant County, South Dakota area. My question after I received the information about this wedding was: What is the relationship between the Bohn, Bartel and Kuehl families. Other names referred to in the newspaper story are: Anna Wandrey who "played a march" as the bridesmaids, Minnie Bartel, Lena Prochnow and Elsie Hoeft, and the groomsmen, Arthur Juehl, Willie Bartel and Richard Bartel entered. A Rev. Berg of Westfield performed the ceremony. Other out of town guests listed were Misses Lizzie and Ida marquardt of Kasson, Minnesota. Do you have any information which would link any of my Bohns with your Bartels and Kuehls.
