This firm is composed of two enterprising young men, Phillip and George Yackel , who came to our city in the spring of 1894 from Goodyear. Previous to that they had been employed at Good year's mill for ten years, last five years as filers.(?) Having accumulated some means they opened a gent's furnishing store, which they conducted in J.F. Blome's Building until it was destroyed by fire, when they went into Charles Armstong's building. Their removal to the Johnson building this fall was signalized by the decided enlargement of their stock, which now includes everything in gent's furnishings, boys and mens clothing, underwear, hats ,caps, etc. They also take orders for custom made clothing which are filled on short notice and fulling guarenteed. Stylish ,perfect-fitting garments are secured in this way at very moderate prices. (Tomah Journal 1895 :Part of article on 5 new buildings)
