Sherwood. Dr. Sherwood came to Tomah in 1885 from Sparta; where he was in partnership with Dr. Hall who had previously been his preceptor in dentistry while in Elroy. Dr. Hall was a dentist of great skill and since has relocated to Londan,England where he has a large and lucrative practice. About a year after locating in Tomah Dr. Sherwood bought the George Robinson place, where his office has been located ever since until he removed to his present fine quarters He occupies a suite of six rooms which were arranged partitioned and finshed specially for his use. The genial Doctor's hosts of friend are glad ot see him located in this elegant office, with a large and firmly established practice. His practice is not merely local, but comes from all the neighboring towns and among his steady patrons are many from Sparta and other places which are not supplied with dentists. During his 10 years practice here people have found that Dr. Sherwood's work stands the test, that he treats rich and poor alike and his charges are always reasonable. Patients can feel sure of candid advice and honest work. The Doctor keeps abreast of the times in everything that pertains to his business. Lately , ill health has caused frequent interruptions in Dr. Sherwood's prctice making it impossible for him to attend to work as promptly as he wished; finding it necessary to have another dentist with him, he has secured Dr.C.A. Whitenack a graduate of the Chicago Dental College, who has had eight years experience in Chicago and other large cities, east and west. In him Dr. Sherwood had an able assistant for whose comptence he can vouch and the same guarantee goes with all his work as with that of Dr. Sherwood himself.
