William T Boughton (no "r") was indeed in the 25 Regiment. As to the "Killed in Action" Broughtons (with an "r"), I suspect that they are not my kin. However, William T Boughton had a brother, Lewis Boughton, b. NY, 1842-43 who might qualify as the Lewis M???. Are you sure of the spellings as cited in your reference?
