Hi Nancy, I have a Charles HELMS who married Louise KOCH in Barron County in 1895. His parents are Christian and Caroline HELMS they were from Hanover Germany. Not sure when they came across the "Big Water". Louise KOCH came from Vienna Austria to Norwalk Wisconsin in 1882 with Parents Anton and Anna KOCH. Do any of these names pop up in your ancestry?
