I am forwarding the following message to the list again; this time, correctly spelling rootsweb. Cheryl Schultz Colletti ----- Original Message ----- From: Cheryl & Richard Colletti To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, December 16, 2000 15:09 Subject: Ludwig Schultz family I would appreciate any info on the family of Ludwig Schultz (b. 1832- d. abt. 1909-1910) and Fredericka (Rika) Jens (b. 1840 - d. 1929) of Adrian Twp and Tomah. Info from the Heritage Book suggests a possible connection between the family of Ludwig and other Schultz families of the area: Bio #939 - Helmke/Bongers Bio #1438 - Schultz I do not have the names of parents for Ludwig; Bio 939 provides the parents names of Rika. Would appreciate info on the parents and siblings of Ludwig. Ludwig and Rika are my gr.gr.grandparents. Thank you. Cheryl Schultz Colletti
Hi everyone, FROM A FELLOW GENEALOGIST.. LET'S PULL TOGETHER AND HELP HER WIN.. She has already won 2 rounds and going for the final win~! I'm sorry to have to do this, but I need to reach a lot of people today so I'm mass mailing this message. Your email addresses have been BCC'd so nobody will know your email addy .... My site, Bower Family Homestead, at <bowercommunity.com/homestead> has entered the third (and thank goodness, final) phase of a site fight. It started at midnight this morning and will run until Saturday. Although there are a total of 13 sites in the fight, we're only directly competing against three others. Voting for ourselves is tomorrow, December 6th. These votes consist of half the Homestead's score. Taking the top number of votes will garner us 10 points. The judges take on the rest of the final score. To the point of this message ~~ will you visit my site today and vote? Will you encourage your friends, coworkers and relatives to do the same? This voting is critical to since these votes consist of half the Homestead's score. Taking the top number of votes will garner us 10 points. The judges' ratings in seven scoring areas take on the rest of the final total. Bringing in the full 10 points will save our final score if the judges hit us too badly on one or more of those areas. It's the final score that will determine our placement in the standings. Here are the voting guidelines I've been given. You'll want to read all of them to make sure your vote gets counted: 1.) **IMPORTANT ~~ IMPORTANT ** _Please_ DO NOT cast any votes until Wednesday 12:01 a.m. U.S. EST. Voting stops at 11:59 U.S. EST. Anything before or after those hours WILL NOT COUNT. 2.) On the voting page you'll fill out a short form. Below that form is a counter. You'll need the counter number (that shows below the form) when completing the form. Also, one of the site fight owners had an emergency in his family this past weekend. He hasn't returned home yet (as of this message) so the voting page may not be updated with this competition's sites. Don't be concerned if you don't see the Bower Family Homestead listed on the page. YOU WILL HAVE TO WRITE IN THE VOTE... the webowner is still out of town... Go ahead and place your vote for the Bower Family Homestead current counter number showing on the page and your full email address. The promoters will still get it. 3.) You can vote from any server, so if you also use a web-based email [Hotmail, Netscape, etc.] please be sure to vote for the Homestead from that email addy as well -- even the ones you use at work [if you can, that is]. Please be sure to hit REFRESH (or reset) to get a new counter number for each screen name or your votes will not count. 4.) AOL users can only vote one time per screen name [I have no reason why; that's just what the rules say]. 5.) The voting page is at <http://members.aol.com/whopbof2/vote.html>. I've set a banner up at the Homestead's front page just in case any surfers want to vote for us or you want to spring to the WHOPBOF voting page from there. 6.) There is an alternative way to vote in case the submit button does not work when voting. You'll find instructions near the bottom of the vote page to how to do this should you get errors when trying to submit a vote. 7.) Please get your friends, relatives and coworkers who have email addresses to vote for us as well! If they have multiple email addresses, they can vote multiple times as long as they remember to REFRESH THE PAGE to get a new counter number. I'll be online all day today if any of you have any questions. This voting business is important (though not quite as important as the vote in Florida, mind you! :) ) or I wouldn't be bothering you. SUBMITTED FOR LIZ::::: below I have a David or Daniel Moore that I am trying to locate something on. I have a death record of a Charles Monroe Moore that say his fathers name is David and he was born in WI. I have a birth record of a Frank Bangues Moore, a child of David/Daniel that lists his birth place as Blue MTS Vermont, with his name down as Daniel. The name of David's/Daniels wife is Charlotte, Amelia, Irish. which seems to be the same on both records. Charles Moore, David/Daniel's son was born in 1856 in Wellington Township, Monroe CO. WI. Charles died in Warrens, Monroe CO, WI. Frank Bangues Moore was born in 3/21/1874 in Norwalk, Monroe CO, WI. I would appreciate any information that you can give me thanks. Liz

my message to Audrey was posted to the list in error. so to add insult to injury, I myself screwed up!!! please accept my apology. post anything you want. Diana
Dear Audrey: I saw this note below on the list and though it has nothing to do with me, I wonder if posting your answer with addresses and telephone numbers on the list is appropriate. I hope you have these people's permission to post such information to a public list. I would not want my address/tele made available in such a way. and then the person answered back on the list and again posted the information by "replying" to the message. maybe a person email would have been better? BTW, this message is not going to the list, only to you.
