    2. I am interested in anyone who had their ancestors in Monroe County, WI during the mid-late 1800s, that came from Cattaraugus County New York. I saw a statement that the area was settled "by Cattaraugus County NY residents" My Farnham ancestors, that were in Leon in the 1870s, were from Cattaraugus Co NY. Have not seen any familiar name in Monroe Co Wis. Don't even know why my ancestors went to Monroe Co, so I suspect with the above statement, they knew someone in the area before coming.
