Contact the people at the Monroe County Local History Room in Sparta. They are most helpful. The address is mclhr@centurytel.com I have family members buried in the Clifton Cemetery so am familiar with it. There are two other cemeteries in Clifton. One is St. Peter's Evanglical Lutheran Cemetery and the other is a Catholic cemetery but I don't recall it's name. Good luck! I have no birth and death dates for William H. Spooner so I'm not positive it is the same but the dates do appear about right. I have a picture of him in 1938 so I know he was still alive at that point. If the information is right, his first wife's name was Martha McMullen and they had two daughters, Grace Mae and Laura. He had a second wife but I don't know her name yet. She had a son named Charles who I think is still living.
