But the cemetary where the children were buried is still here. Unfortunately it is in the middle of the Sparta Golf Course. As I am sure you are aware, the stones in the cemetary had no names, just numbers. However about 3 to 4 years ago, a women by the name of June Laxton who apparently worked at the center, found a list of the names of the children and they put a monument by the cemetary with each childs name and their number.

Huelster who held the funeral service for Mrs. Rachel Larry. My grandmother was a Hueslter and I've done mountains of research on the Huelster line/s from Fredeburg, Germany. Especially the descendants of Wilhelm Deiner Huelster and Maria Theresia Schulte. There were five brothers who immigrated with their parents from Germany in 1848, all of whom were ministers in the Congregational Church, later the Evangelical United Brethren which became the United Methodist church. Thanks, I'd love to hear from you if you have any shred of information which might be useful to my research.
I would like to locate a Tuphorn grave in the North New Hope Lutheran Cemetery. Otto eventually moved to Montana and then ended up in Colorado. My Grandmother told me, all of the Noerenbergs work for the railroad, the girls worked in the resteraunt near the station in Sparta, all the children eventually moved to other states, One married and went to Canada, 3 moved west. The Schoens, Julius' step children, stayed in the Sparta area. The Martha you found on the census must have been Wilhelmine's daughter. None of the Schoens/Noerenbergs were named Martha.
