The Braman line I am researching is Roswell E. Braman. He had four daughters. They lived in Monroe County in the La Grange area. My ggrandfather married Mary Adelia Braman, Roswell's daughter. My ggrandfather was William Henry Clark and when he first came to Monroe County as a child, he lived with a family named Taylor and later with a family named Christie...no further info on those two families. He owned the blacksmith shop on Saratoga Street in Tomah. My uncle, Clark Robertson married Beatrice Taylor, but I do not know if her Taylor family is the same family that my ggrandfather lived with. I assume, which I know that we never should do, that the Taylor families are probably related, but can not be certain of that. Clark & Beatrice Robertson were married in 1934. I encountered these names while researching, repairing, cleaning monuments and restoring the Larson-Pioneer (Cannon Valley) Cemetery. These names were given me by Alta (Linnehan) Cooley, a grandaughter of Oline and Casper Christopherson. She could not furnish any dates,or ages, but did remember the twins names probably because of their names being reversed (one to the other), and did remember being told by family members that they were buried in that little cemetery. I have since submitted the information I was able to acquire to the webmaster for inclusion on the Monroe County Cemeteries site.
