I am looking for information on a Fred Reiter who lived in Milwaukee in 1910 and probably before that. He was married to Alvina and she was in the 1920 census listed as a widow. They had children Fred, Robert and Charles and possibly more. I couldn't find them in 1900 census but their son, Charles was born in MIlwaukee Co. in 1898. Any help would be appreciated. In the indices, my g-g-grandfather was listed as Weir----- when his name really began with Wier----- a small but significant error, puting him on an earlier page than I was searching. I just happened to catch that incorrect spelling by chance. Anyway, I did find quite a lot about him, once I finally found how his name was recorded. In the actual records, it was correctly spelled.
