    3. Remember, it was rare for a woman to naturalize before 1920 because the main benefit of naturalization, eligibility to vote, was not applicable to women until 1920. Pre-1906 naturalization records in Milwaukee County usually contain very little information on the person's family. Having said that, I can probably get to the Historical Society sometime in the next couple of weeks and check for sure.
