I have an obituary for Miss Elizabeth M. BLACK who lived in Milwaukee for 82 years. Her father was John BLACK, born in France. No mention of her mother's name. A sister, Louise (Mrs. James H.) Barnard of Chicago who died in 1920. Unfortunately, there is no date for the obit that I purchased from the Wisconsin Historical Society. In reading the obit, it looks like it's possible that she died in June 1939 since it is attached to a page with obits for Horace Greeley Douglass and Mother Maria Aniceta Regli. I am hoping that someone on this list may have more information about Miss Black that might add to what there is in the obit. It is a lengthy one, as obits go, which tells me that she and her family were very prominent in Milwaukee. Thanks! Trish Coos Bay, Oregon
