Hi Lenora - I am not researching the Flynn family, but I have a little information that might be of help. My grandfather owned a summer home on Lake Keesus a couple of miles from Merton, and I spent many, many, many happy summers there. Though it was long after the 1898-1899 time period, I knew the Merton area very well. My grandfather died in 1942, and after that my aunt took care of paying taxes etc. on the house, keeping a small and very old notebook of her records. The Mary Flynn name rang a bell when I saw your post, so I checked it out. I found that, in 1942, a Mary Flynn was the Treasurer of North Lake -- I assume the town of North Lake. Perhaps you could check records there. A Flynn family also owned property on Lake Keesus back in my time there -- 1930's thru 1950's. I am researching some of my husband's relatives from Menomonee Falls -- Faber, Henrizi, Leonhardt. If you should ever come across those names in your research, I would appreciate hearing from you. I notice your maiden name was Weber. Did your family own that lovely farm that was just on the edge of the town of Merton many years ago? If we can exchange information, please contact me directly. Have a good day.
