It is probably a misspelling of Rhein-Pfalz. It is in western Germany. It is an area rather than a town. Look at a curent map and you will see a "land" or "Bundesland" (state) called Rheinland-Pfalz. You'll be in the area. I cannot give you definite boundaries; besides these moved at times. Bill in Denver
