Should have also added that if you find it hard to get to the Milwaukee County Historical Society building but can get to the Milwaukee Public Library, they have a few volumes of history in their Humanities Room on the 2nd floor that have these pictures in them also. Bob, By any chance would the Library have pictures of the Sheriffs Department? I am looking for pictures of my Great Grandfather - Henry Bender - Deputy Sheriff. I have looked at the Historical Society already with no luck.
