Andrea, I gave you everything I had on Max Fueger & Margaretha Schreck. Most all this info was taken from the Fed. Census for Milwaukee. You said that Ditt was a rare surname but I was sure I had seen that name recently. I checked my "Revolutionäre in Baden 1848/1849 " by Heinrich Raab and found 4 Ditts. They were: Johann Ditt -- Militär Soldat Ludwig Ditt -- (nothing listed) Philipp Ditt -- (nothing listed) Sebastian Ditt -- Tüncher All 4 listed Bretzenheim as their residence and Hessen-Darmstadt as their country of origin. They were all imprisoned in 1849 at Rastatt in Fort A. Only Sebastian listed his age as 34 years old. Hope this helps.
