Could SCAFFIDO have been a change from SCAFFIDI? I received this message from another researcher: A Charles Scaffidi from Brolo. My greatgrandfather was Carmelo Scaffidi from Brolo. I think he was born in the 1850's. My great-grandmother's name was Anna Faranda. My grandfather, Salvatore Militone Scaffidi was born in 1896 and came to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1927. His brother Francesco (Frank) was also here. I will be traveling to Sicily in August for the first time and am wondering if you went to Brolo to try to track down any remaining relatives? He was not related to Sam but they worked together in the car business for many years. Their son, Mark's (and Kathy's children go to the same school as my children.
