Regarding old photos....... I too am in that same predicament. My mother told me of a beautiful photo album of her mother's that had wedding photos etc. My mother was raised by her grandmother, after her mother went ill. My mother's grandmother died and gave the albums to her sister, (my mother's great aunt). The great aunt has long been deceased and her daughters are in their 70's. I am guessing someone has the "Tacke/Hottinger/Willemsen" photo album in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I too would love to find these treasures or see if someone gave them to a local library. I have checked the local historical center for pictures and nothing. My great grandmother's name: May WILLEMSEN - married to TACKE, then divorced and remarried to JUERGENS May had a son: Edward TACKE - married Clare HOTTINGER. May's sister to whom the albums went to: Lillian WILLEMSEN - who married Clarence ARMSTRONG If anyone has any connection, information, photos, I would love to scan them in and correspond with you.
