Greetings fellow listers, I am looking for assistance in finding an obituary for: 2lt John R Homan, USAAF WWII, who was killed when his B-17 went down in the North Sea on 19 August 1943. His body was never recovered. He is listed on the web site that lists casualties from Wisconsin (the name escapes me at the moment, but I think it is Milwaukee links to the past). I believe he was born in the Menasha area possibly in 1919. I am looking for leads to who his birth parents are. Does he have siblings, etc. Menasha city directory listings from 1941-1944 of any HOMAN's would be helpful too. His name is listed on the memorial for the missing of WWII in Holland.
