Here's my thought on memories.... My grandmother made the most wonderful Chili when I was a child.... She never wrote anything down..... When I grew up I still remembered her Chili......none I ever ate tasted like hers..... So I started my quest to make one like hers...... Each time I made chili I wrote down how I did it..... It took 5 years and I finally hit on the taste that I remembered so well....... I'm presently making up a cookbook and copies to give to my friends to pass on my family recipes, ones that we call tried & true..... I am not going to let all these wonderful recipes be lost forever when I die!!! Just thought I'd pass this on so maybe someone else may not have their families recipes lost forever!!!
