    3. If a public administrator had to sign as informant, I think that would mean there was no other family around to do that. Perhaps this ties in with why they thought he was buried in "Potter's Field." But the cemetery probably wouldn't have much more information than what was on the death cert. When I have looked at cemetery records, all they usually have is the date, place of burial and who else is in the plot (IF it was a family plot)--not information on parents and birthplace.
