    3. Hi Louise- In the 1860 census, he is listed as Nicolaus and he is living with his father Peter, mother Susanna and 5 siblings in Belgium, Ozaukee County Wisconsin. In all of the other available records on Ancestry.com, he is listed as; N. Thill, N. A. Thill and Rev. N. A. Thill. Sorry but I can't help with the A initial. There's an article mentioning his death on June 16, 1898 in Jefferson and his brother taking over his position. This was at St John the Baptist Parish in Jefferson. This article can be viewed online at; Wisconsin History Society's web page<http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/wlhba/articleView.asp?pg=1&id=7297&key=thill&cy=>. If you have any problems viewing it, contact me an I can send you the file via e-mail as I have saved it temporarily.
