When the rolling mill was going strong or maybe when it first started.....people came from St. Clair County, Michigan to work there. That is how my great grandmother's family came to Milwaukee. I believe that Beulah Brinton, sort of famous in Bay View, came to Milwaukee also from St. Clair...which would include Marine City, China township and several other small towns.
