    3. First, if someone else has sent this, I'm sorry for the repeat. I haven't read all my mail but got hooked on this research. Mary, actually, it matches perfectly if they married the year after the 1920 census. Also, On both censuses Blanche had a mother born in Canada. On the 1920 census Blanche had 2 children who were old enough to be out of the home in 1930. Also, this does appear to be the same man from childhood to the 1964 death. 1900 Freedom, Outagamie Co, WI Albert born March 1888 is with parents ???(written over) and Anna Kubitz husband born Germany wife born WI and siblings Fred, Edward, and Lillia (n?). 1905 WI State Census father is dead Anna is with all the above children and it includes a 5 yr old boy, Harry who must have been born after the 1900 census. In June of 1917 Albert was single but part support of his mother on his WW1 war registration. He was living in Appleton. He had blue eyes and light brown hair. It does show the same birth date and Freedom was his birth place. Interestingly, there is another Albert Kublitz in Appleton in 1880. He was the son of John and Louisa and was 1 yr old. I have a hunch that there will be a connection. John may be a brother to our Albert's father. I see no 1910 census listing at first glance but I have to leave now to take my grandkids to see Pirates of the Caribbean, If you like I'd be delighted to dig further when I get home! Frankly and very sadly, despite what your friend believes, I don't see how this could NOT be the same man dying in 1964. The birth dates are both March 17, 1888. dianne > >------------------------------ > >Message: 3 >Date: Tue, 22 May 2007 11:21:50 -0500 >From: "Mary R. 3. Diane, I have repeatedly shown them all the info indicating this is their Albert-but it does no good. They are adament Albert died in the mid to late 1940's in Milwaukee & was buried in the County cemetery. I have all census info-WW I record from Ancestry. Someone looked in the Poor Farm cem records & found he was unlisted. I've checked many online Milwaukee Cem-unlisted. Contacted someone for Wauwatosa cem-unlisted. They have stated loud & clear they will not pay for a death cert of someone they know is not their relative. I have no luck in getting an obit since none could be found. I am having no luck in getting someone to look up the death cert & transcribe. I can find nobody to checkout city directories for the 1940's to 1960's for Albert in Milwaukee. I do not know where else to look for info on him. BTW--That John Kubitz in Appleton is no relation as far as we know so far. 1910 supposedly he was in Illinois. 1920 & 1930 suposedly in Milwaukee area I have seen the surname spelled Kubitz, Kubits, Cubitz, Cubits, Kobitz, Kobits, Cobitz, Cobits & 1x only Kubetz. I am almost ready to give up & move on. I really would like to prove many individuals theory & mine that Albert did die in 1964-January 31st in Wauwatosa.
