    3. Dan, Back in the 1930's and 40's my Dad had a store at 3305 N. Green Bay Ave., so I knew the area fairly well. As I recall, Green Bay Ave. began at Burleigh -- about 5 blocks south of Dad's store. If my memory serves me correctly, then Green Bay would only have gone south to about the 2800 block. So are you sure about that 1804 address? Maybe you should try 2804 instead? Hope this helps and doesn't only confuse.     3. The 1800 block about the time of WWI became the 4000 block in 1930. This is on Green Bay, between Capitol and Maurice (but close to the corner of Capitol and Green Bay. According to the 1930 ED finder on www.stevemorse.org, this would have been the 40-269 ED in 1930.
