    1. [WIMILWAU] Mirgeler Family of Greenfield
    2. I am new to the list and could use some help. (please) I live in Alabama and I am searching my granddaughter's family. She descends from the Mirgeler family that settled in Greenfield, Milwaukee Co., WI. Her line comes from ..... Wihelm Mirgeler b. 1802 m. Elisabeth K Pper b. 1808, they are buried at Blessed Sacrament Cemetery. Johann Peter Mirgeler b. 1837 m. Johanna Gutwald b. 1843 also buried at Blessed Sacrament Cemetery. Frank Wilhelm Mirgeler b. 1862 m. Katherine Kepke b. 1870, she comes from Watertown, Jefferson, WI. Robert J. Mirgeler b. 1895 m. Hazel W. ????? Robert and Hazel are in the 1930 census of Milwaukee Co. with their daughter Eunice Liberty b. 1918 (my line), Robert Jr. b. 1921 and Ruby b. 1923. Eunice lived out her life in Alabama. I found a gedcom for this Mirgeler line kindly submitted by a Bill Peppey who I have learned is deceased. The gedcom has the line having come to America in 1845 and extends back into Prussia. My goal at this point is the maiden name of Hazel W. ????? m. Robert J. Mirgeler. This marriage would have taken place abt. 1917, they are in the 1920 census Milwaukee City 16th Ward. I live in Alabama and cannot find the record online. I did see that there is an index of marriages on microfilm for 1830-1918 at the University Archives. Anyone on the list in the area willing to do a lookup??? I will gladly pay expenses. If not, is there any other way I can access the records without a visit up north. Anyone searching this line? I searched the archives and found a Krista searching Mirgelers, is she still around?
