    3. A friend sent me this address for the Graphic Information Systems day to be held at UWM on November 14. GIS is the sort of map Hamtrack uses when it maps the geographic distribution of surnames on the census. The kind of thing that when you type in "Kauzlaric", more of them ( in a theoretical example ) live in Illinois than any other state and the next screen brings up the USA map with states shaded by how many of the Kauzlaric surname live there. I find geopolitical genealogy interesting and also appreciate the price on this workshop.
