Hi! I recently joined this listserv and was hoping to locate any descendents of my great-great grandparents who settled in Milwaukee County. Casper (b. 1821, d. 1891) and Magdalena (b. 1829, d. 1907) lived in Oak Creek and Lake (now Cudahy), Wisconsin. They were married in Milwaukee County in 1846 and had 11 children: Joseph, Louis, Mary, Frank, Barney (my great-grandfather), Margaret, Rosa, Lina (or Lena), William and twins, John and Jane. Casper was a farmer. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who might be related to these Fischer's. Thanks!
