Our John Wierschem was born About July 30, 1815 in Rhineland (Kovich Govt. Coblenz, King IB, Germany) Prussia. He married Margaretha Landvogt, born Oct. 18, 1817 in Kover, Germany. Sons, Peter and Joseph were born in Germany in 1843. A son, Nicholas, and daughter, Catherine, were born in Chicago. I know there are Wierschem's in Milwaukee. In Iowa last week at a genealogy conference I met a Wierschem from northern Wisconsin who is undoubtedly kin. Can anyone help me on this?
