Rootsweb has had the so called I Search archives for a long time and they work correctly. More recently, Rootsweb developed the Threaded Archive search. It is presently off line and has been for several months due to a bad server. There seems to be no firm date for getting it back online. Getting back to the virus problem, if anyone ever is concerned that their computer is infected, there is an online virus scanner that is pretty well regarded at http://housecall.antivirus.com/ There are message boards for virus questions at http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&group=alt.comp.anti-virus http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&group=alt.comp.virus http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&group=comp.virus Those are hooked in with USENET so it is often unmoderated.
