    3. Hi Maxine, The basic virus that is causing a problem right now is called Badtrans B. However, someone on this list said they got Hybris yesterday and I got one this morning. Hybris could be coming from anywhere, and its been around a long time. It used to be called Loveletter or something. When you say that the attachment opened right up, that is caused by a defect in the Outlook Express email program that comes with many new computers. People using OE are supposed to get a patch to fix that but lots haven't. You use Eudora and I use Pegasus and it wouldn't pop right open on us. I have posted a couple of times today and yesterday and haven't received a virus in reply. If there is an infected computer on this list, then when they turn it on, you and I will be getting a virus. Then we can write them......but for now it looks like everyone is ok. Bob On 1 Dec 2001, at 18:21 Joseph J & Maxine M.
