    3. Maxine, yes, you can still look at the record books. That's what I'll be doing on the 11th. You can go for 4 hours at a time, but you have to make appointments in advance. The first time you go, you fill out a form that they keep on file for you. I thought that on certain days for a certain very few hours people could actually look at the records? A woman used to extract information from the records for me. I made up a form and filled in the name etc and then mailed it to her. She pulled the records and filled in the remaining data and sent the forms back to me. Sometime after that I read in the Milwaukee County Genealogical Society's REPORTER that the records wouldn't be as available as they had been. I didn't pay a lot of attention to the times and dates as I don't live in Wisconsin. But does this mean that researchers cannot look at the actual records, ever?? Just curious.
