If you intent to go upstairs to the Probate Office--the index card file is available outside the clerks area and you do not need an appointment--but, again, if you want them to pull a Probate Record--you must have made an advance appointment..just like downstairs... Avoid taking shuch dangerous objects as Eyebrow tweezers, scissors, or nail files--any sharp object will be confiscated and thrown away..or you can walk back to wherever you parked your car and put them back in there--then walk back, stand in line, again, to go through the metal detector...just an FYI Susan
