Vikki, Write to them, via regular mail, and ask for a list of Genealogical Resources of the Milwaukee County Historical Society. At the end of this two page list it states what their current fee is, I think $5, for a genealogical search and $10 for census searches. The list is more detailed than this, but in general it states that they have naturalization papers, city directories, obituaries, early published histories of Milwaukee, census records, court records, probate files, coroner's inquests, biographical sketches, incorporation papers, civil war records, school census, Episcopal church records, church records, national defense program...etc. They also have the Sanborn insurance maps. 910 N. Last year I submitted an email request on behalf of a client asking them to search their naturalization file. I provided a VISA number and was charged. However, I never received a response from them, even after I sent two follow-up emails, each of which referenced the original information requested. For the $10 fee, I would have at least expected a response that the person was not listed in their index. The service I received from the staff when I was there in person was very good.
