Our number was Melrose 7-2412. I agree--I can't remember anybody in my family's current number (what would I do in an emergency), yet I can remember that phone number from the 1950's. I'm glad to see so many people on here with Telephone Co. connections. I will start going through the photos to sort them for scanning, so I can share with whoever is interested. >>> busia@mindspring.com 05/04/02 12:28AM >>> Evergreen 4-2416 was our phone number when I was a girl. My grandparents had Mitchell 5-0490. I sometimes have trouble remembering the home phone number I have now ... and I'm not THAT old!
