Hi Everyone, Thought I'd repost my interests...maybe someone new out there is a long-lost cousin. Brothers Jacob and Peter STAUDINGER were from Bavaria. The earliest document I have shows the marriage of Peter STAUDINGER to Mary KAISER at old St. Mary's, Milwaukee in 1855. They show up in Pittsburgh, PA in 1858, when Jacob STAUDINGER married Maria GRISLEN/GRISSLING/CHRISTIE. I can't find anything for their wives' parents, either. Did they just beam down? They are not found in the 1850 census. I do have them traced pretty well after that, but still do not have their home village, or any other documents from their stay in WI.
