Hi Susan, The Milwaukee Genealogical Society has a website and they will do one free query in their quarterly publication "The Reporter." They also will do research for you on line and they have their fee schedule and a form you can submit online. They also sell some books from this site. I just ordered Mimi Byrd's book on Granville Settlers from them. I haven't had time to receive it yet but I will let you know what happens. Here is the Milwaukee Genealogical Society website: One Free Query Request I also found another valuable website that may be of interest to the Milwaukee List. The entire Erving, Burdock & Company, Milwaukee City Directory for 1857 & 1858 can be read or downloaded from this site: Making of America Books I also used the advanced search on this site with surnames and came up with very interesting information on some family members. Good Luck In Your Searches! Cindy
