    2. A while back I answered someone who asked if it was worth it to join the Milwaukee Genealogy Society. I said that I wasn't happy with them because I never received the newsletters that they were supposed to send and that I didn't know how to do requests to them. Well I received a newsletter this month and as I was digging around my genealogy piles I found a newsletter from a couple of months ago. I shouldn't have spoken so soon. Now if I can just learn how to make those requests. Vikki

    3. Vikki If you mean a query , the instructions are in the REPORTER, their "magazine". If you mean how to get someone from there to do look ups for you, write a personal letter to one of the officers listed on the inside cover of the REPORTER. I think that is how I "met" a few people who did look ups for me. Some were paid some were not. 3. Vikki, Please keep me posted on the Milwaukee County Geneological Society--does their newsletter include the dues/subscription and where to send it? They don't have a Web Site--at least not posted on the Milwaukee County GenWeg page... Susan snokes@tscnet.com

    3. Here is the web address for the Milwaukee Co. Genealogical Society: http://www.execpc.com/~mcgs/ You will find dues info plus how to request lookups and much more. http://www.google.com is a great search engine for genealogical sites that you might be interested in. 3. I have the 1939 1940,1941, 1942, 1943, 1944 issues of "The Hilltop" from Marquette University. And the 1927, 1938 and 1939 issues of the "Cardinal Penant" from Wauwatosa High School. Willing to do look-ups in these (There are no name indices, so it might take a while). Is anyone available to do a few obituary look-ups for me in the old Milwaukee Sentinal or Journal? Thank you, Susan snokes@tscnet.com
