    1. Re: [WiMilwau] Finding E.D.'s (long)
    2. Interesting. A long time ago, I had an address so I went to this huge map that was under lock and key (at the library) and she said with my address I could find the ED. Yeah, right. I look up the Soundex and the ED # on there is exactly the same ED # you need on the Ancestry census. My Carl and Caroline were in ED 193. I knew the sheet # and the line #. Had no trouble. I will be spending a lot of time on the Soundex for a while. Don't know what we'll do with the 1930's. Is doing a Soundex so difficult that they haven't done one yet? The computers at the library are much quicker and I can look up my census right there. She said they don't make copies tho. I'll try anyway and see. She also said they hadn't downloaded Mr. SYD or whoever that plugin is. Well, duh, they did have it and I was able to work much faster on there computer. So when mine goes to the repair shop you can reach me at the library :-) Hee-hee. I'll bet Sandy knows her way around this library better than I do. I just don't know where to look. Oh, I have to look for Carl's papers of intent. Help???? He came on 3-18-1881 to Baltimore and it said PA. Trudy said I should look those up first before writing to a church. Ok, gotta go. I wonder if we can do email from the library :-) :-) Love, Jean
