Hi, Speaking of Pilgrim's Rest, does anyone know if there are any plans by the cemetery or any cemetery associations to make the names of persons buried there available to the public--as the Catholic Cemeteries in Milwaukee did? I, too, have relatives buried there--and really wish they had a search engine like the Arch Diocese of Milwaukee does. Susan (and other's interested) I doubt there are any plans for any cemeteries to put their information online. That is typically quite an undertaking. It is rare that the Milwaukee Archdiocese has an online database. It is my experience from my work with other counties/states, that many churches tend to keep their information to themselves. I am pretty happy to see that Milwaukee has this database available. I was poking around this morning in the LDS Library Search. There is 6 microfilm Reels available through the Family History Center for Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery in Milwaukee. The records are 1880-1979. Do you have a family history center available to you? I think there are burials from before 1880 in Pilgrim's Rest, but I could be wrong...Does anyone know the date that -that particular cemetery was opened/started? Hi, Anyone who has emailed me with an 1880 census question between 4/9 and 4/13,please send again. I just got my computer back today after a major overhaul and upgrade. Sorry 'bout that...seems zone alarm was the culprit according to the tech. Maureen (NY,USA) Ye Old Directory Shoppe 1/2 price BLAST!
