    1. Heidelberg death entry
    2. Hi, I found a Harold Heidelberg (329-38-6712) in the LDS Social Security Death index. Date of death was given as May 1973 with the place of death as Wisconsin (the region including Glendale, Milwaukee, Shorewood and Whitefish Basin). Is there a way of narrowing down the city although I suspect that it was Milwaukee? My thought was to see if the city library would do an obituary search. I do not have an Ancestry.com subscription. Would someone be willing to check that database for me? Regards, Vera Hamson

    1. Heidelberg/ Wallschlaeger/ Steller of Oak Creek
    2. Hi, I am looking for descendants of John Steller and Sophia Hassel of Oak Creek, Milwaukee. John arrived there sometime between 1848 and 1854. He was born in Dornbach, Pflaz (Baiern in the census) in 1824.John and Sophia had five daughters; Mathilda, Ida, Amanda, Bertha and Augusta. Amanda married Fred Heidelberg in Oak Creek and they had children; Harold F., Winnifred and Elsie T. Bertha married William Wallschlaeger but I do not know whether they had any children. If these names sound familiar I would be interested in any information which you can provide. Regards, Vera Hamson

    3. Hi Everyone, Thanks so much for the advice people have offered if finding info about the old records from Old St. Mary's. I've ordered the FHC films but since I'm in New Zealand it may take a while for them to arrive but I've waited this long a bit more wont hurt me. If anyone knows if St. Mary's has a cemetery on site that may also be useful. I didn't get the impression that they did but you never know. Also, I had a suggestion for an old German cemetery that may be a possible but who's records are lost. Does anyone know about this place? Thanks to all again who offered their help. Dave
