Rev. Sturn officiated. Leo was son of Mr. and Mrs. F.W. Kline and was a "young man of sterling qualities." Florence was a teacher in "our high school" [possibly Westfield] and had "innumerable steadfast friends" because of her "pleasing personality." Scheible-Cristman: C.L. The groom worked for Gimbel Bros. store in Milwaukee but took a job as manager of an Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co.'s store in Milwaukee where they couple planned to live. Dee-Doege: Ruth Dee married Ervin Doege on June 9, 1926. Ruth was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dee (Meadow Valley Dairy Farm "just east of the village"). Ervin was the son of Julius Doege (from Neshkoro). Rev. George Scheible officiated. Flower girls - Lauverne Daye and Joyce Lau. Bridesmaid - Lillie Lange. Best man - Wayne Dahlke (cousin of groom). The American Legion Band serenaded the bridal party; Ervin was a member of that band. They planned to move to Sixth Street after Sept. Ervin worked with the Westfield Milling & Electric Light Company. Ruth lived in the Westfield area all her life and was a teacher for two years.
