I have received comments from a few of you regarding the problem of the recent Spam placed on the Marquette County mailing list this week for a tree service and a public coin operated cell phone charger. Commercial e-mail messages are strictly prohibited on rootsweb mailing lists, but occasionally one will slip through, and while I sympathize, I can only delete the spam, not prevent it from reaching your mailboxes. While I administer the messageboard and Marquette County webpages, I have no control over the mailing list at this time. The best advice I can give is to delete the spam, and go one hunting for our ancestors.
