They planned to live at Nekoosa. Fred was manager of the Kellogg Bros. Lumber company office. Fobes-Dahlke: Anna May Fobes married Howard G. Dahlke on Friday, Aug. 28 (year not given). Anna was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Fobes (Redwood Falls, Minn.). Howard was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Dahlke (Westfield). Rev. Fred Hauser (Presbyterian Church pastor at St. Peter)officiated. Singer - Alice Stewart. Bridesmaid - Jeanette Fobes. Best man - James Gilmore (Monroe, Michigan). Honeymoon - Niagara Falls. Residence - Westfield, Wisconsin. Anna graduated from Redwood Falls High School, Stout Institute, Menomonie, Wis. and attended University of Wisconsin. Howard attended Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin. He worked with his father at the Westfield Power Company. Guests included Alice Moore (of Rushmore), Mrs. Clarence Bennett (Friendship, Wis.), Mr. and Mrs. Gus Dahlke (Westfield), Mrs. Clarence Bennett (Friendship, Wis.), Mr. and Mrs. P.J. Murphy (of Morton, Michigan). Wilkins-Goodnature: Charlotte Wilkins married Vincent Goodnature on Aug. 18, 1928 in Montello. Rev. Father Velte officiated. Charlotte's parents - Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilkins. Vincent's parents - Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Goodnature. Attendents: Blanche Goodnature (sister of the groom) and George Wilkins (cousin of the bride). Reception afterward hosted by Evalena Thalacker and Elsie Klinke. Charlotte graduated from Teachers' Training School at Westfield and has taught in Marquette County for four years. Vincent graduated from Montello High School and worked at the shoe factory in Portage (where they planned to live).
