Grahn got married Oct. 17, 1936 in the Lutheran parsonage in Westfield. Rev. Messerschmidt officated. Edith was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. McMahon. Attendent - Leila Johnson (Edith's cousin). Arthur was son of Wm. Grahn (Westfield). Attendent -- Ralph Grahn (his brother). Edith lived in Grand Marsh where they held a party after the wedding; Mrs. Harlan Bartels and Miss Tillie Herzberg hosted. Edith and Arthur attended Westfield High (Arthur graduated in 1924). He worked with the Westfield Milling & Electric Lt. Company as an electrician. Tonn-Wagner: Martha Tonn married Harvey Wagner on Oct. 7, 1928 in the Lutheran parsonage at Springfield. Maid of honor - Evalena Thalacker (friend of bride). Best man - Walter Tonn. Martha and Harvey graduated from Westfield High School. Martha was a teacher in Marquette County schools. Harvey worked at the Chevrolet garage in Coloma and "respected for his sterling qualities." [SOURCE: Central Union newspaper] Kruger-Jones: Arline Kruger married Vernon Jones on May 22, 1930. Arline was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kruger. Vernon was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jones (of East Troy). Ceremony performed by Rev. Bernhardt. Evelyn Krueger and Glennis Christensen hosted wedding dinner. Attendents - Ruth Meyer (of Aurora, Illinois) and Amost Kruger (brother of the bride). They planned to live on the Jones farm at East Troy.
