Johnston married June 30, 1922 at the home of Allen S. Ingraham in Westfield (Ethel's parents). Rev. Semelroth officated. Esther Kerst (Milwaukee) was bridesmaid, and Elmer Ingraham (brother of the bride) was best man. They returned to their home in Milwaukee after the ceremony where Lewis was a streetcar conductor. Schlinske-Harrison: Edna Schlinske and Morris Harrison (from Fond du Lac) married Nov. 7, 1923. Rev. Velke (Montello) officated. Bridesmaid - Margaret Long (cousin of bride); best man - Herbert Thalacker (schoolmate). Zaske-Krueger: Vernard Zaske and Adelia Kruger married Feb. 5, 1926 at the bride's mother's home. Rev. E.F. Messerschmit officiated. Viola Jahnke and Gilbert Zaske were bridesmaid/best man. Vernard was a teacher at Randolph, Wis. They both graduated from Westfield High School.
