Surnames: Johnson, Byers, Hoskins, Bagley, Schultz, Hamilton Classification: Marriage Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/3EC.2ACE/618 Message Board Post: Since I'm not sure of newspaper copyright expiration dates, the following are abstracts (rather than verbatim) of wedding announcements in clippings found in Evaline Tagatz Phillips' files (newspaper source unknown). Johnson-Byers -- Bernice Johnson and Arther Byers married Nov. 10, 1926 in Oxford and went on a honeymoon to Sheboygan. Bernice was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dell Johnson, and she was a teacher in Adams County and a graduate of Westfield High School. Arther was a farmer in the town of Jackson. Hoskins-Bagley -- Blanche Hoskins married Milton Bagley in 1925 (year handwritten on newspaper clipping; exact date not included). Rev. G.H. Scheible (of Evangelical parsonage) performed the ceremony. Blanche graduated from Westfield High School. They planned to live at Milton's farm in Dell Prairie. Schultz-Hamilton -- Darwin Schultz and Mae Hamilton married in 1924 (exact date not given) in Friendship. The Presbyterian minister performed the ceremony. Darwin's parents were Mr. and Mrs. Gus Schultz. Darwin was working at a barber shop in Friendship. Mae's parents were Mr. and Mrs. George Hamilton of Hecla, N.D., but she lived with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. James A. Hamilton and went to high school in Wisconsin. The article said she "has a very pleasing personality."
