I am the great-great-grandson of Jan Derk Reijnders - AKA George Reynders - Minnie married Jan Derk (George) in 1875/6 in Holland Wisconsin, just a couple of months after his first wife - Anna Victoria Petersen Reynders died. If you have been to Germania to see Frederick's grave you will see that Anna is buried right next to Frederick. Minnie was - as far as we can tell - Jan Derk (George) & Anna's maid or was the maid of Alida Theodora Gamelkoorn Bacot de Lyser - Jan Derk's (George) Aunt. Who also died about the same time as Anna. Also Minnie did not divorce Jan Derk (George), he died of an overdose of morphine, opium and sulfur - as reported in the Ground Mound, Clinton County, Iowa paper - in January 1885.
